This issue was addressed by updating the F5OS to version 1.1.1 which now enforces a minimum of 664 permissions when creating containers. Additionally, the F5 license version enforced on F5OS-C was raised from 1.5.0 to 1.5.1, as an additional precaution. A minimal F5 license (1.5.0) can be downloaded here: https://support.f5.com/license-requirements/. If you have an F5OS-C installed and are running an F5OS-C version lower than 1.5.1, you should upgrade your F5OS-C to version 1.5.1 immediately. We recommend updating your F5OS-C as soon as possible to ensure you have the most up to date version. For more information, please see F5OS-C 1.5.1 release announcement. To update your F5OS-C, visit the Updates page in the Management Console, select your F5OS-C, and click the Update button. To update your F5OS-C manually, follow these steps: Navigate to the directory where your F5OS-C installation is located.

Execute the following command: wget -O - https://F5.com/license/update | bash This will update your F5OS-C to version 1.5.1.

F5 License Requirements

The F5OS-C is based on the F5OS. As part of the F5 license, the minimum required version of the F5OS must be installed with your OS. The F5OS-C uses a minimum F5 license of 1.5.1.
To ensure you have the most up to date version, we recommend you update your F5OS-C to 1.5.1 as soon as possible after installation (and do not install any additional components that may conflict with the OS). If your OS is running an older version than 1.5.1, and you are currently using a minimal or non-F5 license, please contact our support team to discuss upgrading your license to a more current one.

F5 Platform Services

The F5 Platform Services are a set of APIs that allow integration with the F5 network through an Application Programming Interface (API). The F5OS-C, part of the F5 Platform Services, allows remote management and configuration of the F5 network. The F5OS-C is used in conjunction with the Management Console; as such, both need to be installed and updated to ensure they are current.
