What is Android’s Permission?
Although Android is a mobile operating system, it's not just limited to smartphones. Android also supports tablets and TV boxes, which are used in a variety of different industries. And some of those industries require very specific permissions from the app developers because they use the apps for very specific purposes. So, what is permission?
A permission can be defined as a set of capabilities that an app needs to perform certain actions on behalf of the user. For example, take the camera permission in Android. This permission allows apps to access your device's camera hardware so that they can take pictures with it or modify them. It also lets an app use your camera flash so that you don't have to manually turn on your flash every time you want to take a picture in an indoor setting where photography isn't allowed (like at work).
As you can see, the idea behind permissions is simple: They let apps do things on your behalf without having you tell them every single one step of the way how to do so. In return for this convenience granted by permissions, you need to give apps all the bits and pieces necessary for them to do their job: You give them full control over your device's camera hardware by granting them "Camera", and then you grant them "Camera Flash" because they'll need that too if they want to modify or edit pictures taken with your camera sensor.
What is Android Root?
Android Root is process of getting access to the root directory on your phone. It allows you to gain administrative privileges and run commands that would normally be blocked if they were not rooted.
There are two types of rooting, Superuser & User Rooting.
Superuser Root - Superuser Root is a privilege given to a user that allows them to perform administrative tasks without requiring any other permission. This privilege can be gained by either rooting or installing Xposed Framework.
User Rooting - User Rooting is the process of gaining semi-permanent access to root (making temporary exceptions) without installing any system-level software, such as Superuser.
What is a Root?
The first question that comes to the mind of a newbie is "What is root?" In simple words, it is an administrative privilege that allows an Android device owner (called a "user") to alter certain parts of its operating system without requiring the user to have any technical knowledge. Root access gives the user complete control over their device's software. For instance, a rooted device can be used with different OS-level features such as SELinux and Linux-based applications.
